Montana CDC is a certified Community Development Financial Institution, providing one-on-one advising and innovative financing to small businesses across the state of Montana. The CFO position will be based out of Montana CDC’s headquarters in Missoula, Montana. Missoula, often referred to as the “Garden City,” has four distinct seasons and countless community and cultural events that accompany each season. The University of Montana is located along the Clark Fork River in the heart of Missoula, providing music, arts, culture, sports, and world-class lectures for the general public. Missoula is a family-town, full of parks, play grounds and activities for children. It is also an outdoor mecca, with hundreds of mile of trails for hiking, biking and running, many of which depart from town. Snowbowl family ski hill is 30 minutes away. Flathead Lake, Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks, and five different wilderness areas can be reached within a couple of hours. Missoula has its own symphony, half a dozen museums and bookstores, and is home to three weekly farmers markets during the summer. Downtown Missoula is bustling year round, with people shopping, meeting friends for coffee, dining at the many downtown restaurants and attending community events.
