November 20, 2006 Betty’s Divine is a fashion boutique located on the Hip Strip in downtown Missoula. Aimee McQuilkin, owner of Betty’s Divine, opened the store with the vision of diversifying Missoula’s retail landscape by offering unique clothing brands and accessories. Aimee started working with MCDC in the spring of 2005. Under the guidance of the Small Business Development Center, Aimee completed extensive market research, developed a comprehensive business plan, and organized cash flow projections for her first two years of operation. After the planning stage, MCDC partnered with Aimee by providing financing to help cover leasehold improvements, furniture and fixtures, and purchase base inventory to stock her store.
